Welcome to the Buhl Model Train Society!
Welcome to the Buhl Model Train Society, where the love of model railroading brings generations together!
Founded in 2008, our society was created to share our passion for model trains with people of all ages, especially children and families. Many of our members grew up enjoying model railroading during the 1950s, learning, playing, and creating memories with their post-war train collections. Today, many of those same trains are still running, keeping the magic and nostalgia of model railroading alive!
Our Annual Holiday Train Show
Every December, we host our annual Holiday Model Train Show, a family-friendly tradition that brings the community together to celebrate the wonder of model railroading.
Our show is always free admission, making it an enjoyable experience for families, children, and train enthusiasts of all ages. The event takes place in the second-floor gymnasium of the Buhl Community Recreation Center, where visitors can explore exciting layouts, see trains in action, and experience the joy of this timeless hobby.
