Tully’s scheduled to be demolished!!!

JOHN ZAVINSKI | Herald - By MICHAEL ROKNICK Herald Business Writer 5 hrs ago wkbn.com The end of Tully's Pub and Grill closest to Connelly Boulevard was built in the 1870s as the Pennsylvania Railroad passenger station.

SHARON – It’s the last call and the end of the line for Tully’s Pub and Grille. Once an icon of downtown Sharon, it will be demolished beginning this week. Its owner, TravelCenters of America, made the final decision last week to raze most of the multiple, connected structures at the site. “The buildings are in a very, very dilapidated condition,’’ said Tom Liutkus, senior vice president of marketing and public relations for TravelCenters, which acquired the property when it bought the Sharon-based Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant chain out of bankruptcy last year. Leaky roofs, buckling floors and broken windows can be found throughout the buildings, Liutkus said. Tully’s has mostly been closed in recent years, but it would reopen on special occasions.
