About Levi Bowser

Retired Member, and Good Friend.

Levi passed surrounded by his loving family. Levi ran the race, fought a good fight of faith, and went on to celebrate in his heavenly home.

Born in Sharon, Pennsylvania and raised in Transfer, Pennsylvania, Levi lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a genuine love for those around him. He made friends wherever he went, always eager to share a smile and a moment of laughter.

Find obituaries from your high school A proud graduate of Reynolds High School, Levi spent over 25 years as a dedicated steelworker before retiring. His strong work ethic and caring nature extended beyond his career, touching countless lives through his service to others.

Levi was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Bowser of Sharon; his oldest son, Jeremiah Bowser and his wife, Jenna; his youngest son, Samuel Bowser and his wife, Nicole; his cherished grandson, Harrison Levi Bowser of Hermitage and his siblings: brother, Gary Bowser and sisters, Viola Bowser and Ellen Shafer.

He also carried the loving memories of his parents, Mary and Finley Bowser, with him throughout his life.

A man of deep faith, Levi was ordained as a minister through the CL Lane Bible Institute of SMEA. As an Evangelist, he traveled extensively, using his profound knowledge of the Bible and his heartfelt love for the Lord to preach across the country, officiate weddings, and offer counsel to those on their spiritual journey—especially inspiring young people as a dedicated Youth Minister.

Levi’s interests enriched his life and the lives of those around him. He loved hunting and fishing, was an expert gardener, and cherished every moment spent with his beloved dog. His passion for model trains shone brightly as an active member of the Buhl Model Train Society. In addition, Levi proudly served his country in the Air Force, a testament to his commitment and character.

In keeping with his wishes, Levi’s body is being donated to science and research. His remains will be cremated, and a private memorial will be held for the spreading of his ashes at the property and cabin he purchased for his father. Further details regarding a public memorial or celebration of life will be announced in the coming weeks.

Levi’s legacy of love, generosity, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
